Caterpillar has become the NHL’s official heavy equipment and industrial energy sponsor; Sponsorship begins in the 2022-23 NHL season.
Caterpillar Inc. and the National Hockey League (NHL® ) have announced a multi-year global sponsorship, making Caterpillar the official Heavy Equipment and Industrial Equipment Supplier of Record. NHL Energy Sponsor. Launched this fall at the start of the 2022-23 NHL regular season, the sponsorship will recognize the people who make, sell and operate Cat® products and services .

Through the sponsorship, Caterpillar and its dealers can identify opportunities to assist the NHL by providing behind-the-scenes products and services to support NHL games and special events.

As part of the sponsorship, Caterpillar and its dealers can identify opportunities to help the NHL by providing behind-the-scenes products and services to support NHL games and special events.

The NHL will partner with Caterpillar to use Cat products at NHL events, highlighting the company’s heavy machinery and industrial power generators through television signage and arena branding at iconic League events, including NHL® All-Star Weekend, NHL Stadium Series . ™ and the NHL® Winter Classic . The NHL will also work with the company to promote hockey to local communities through the Caterpillar dealer network.
